Physis’ founder

Stefania Di Bartolomeo founded Physis Investment with the vision to disrupt the financial system by empowering individuals to invest in companies and projects that respect and protect people and the planet. Physis is a startup that allows investors to understand their environmental and social impact while generating a positive financial return. 

Stefania was born in Italy and worked all across Europe in sustainable finance. By the time she turned 25, she had already started a company and traveled across the globe. During her travels, she saw many inequalities and problems firsthand. These experiences inspired her to find solutions to integrate sustainable principles into investment portfolios and drive impact and financial performance. 

Stefania is a Harvard graduate, global investment strategist, board member, university lecturer, and international speaker on sustainable finance. She has published two e-books that analyze the development of sustainability among institutional investors and corporations. 

While working in the industry, Stefania became the youngest impact investing fund manager and the first to publish an impact report in Europe. She has developed unique investment methodologies that generate competitive returns while having a positive impact. She has been advising institutional clients, helping them to transition to sustainable investments.
